Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Majorum Network collects through majorum.net, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. We have built the site to collect as little as possible: no advertising, no analytics, no third-party scripts or fonts, and no tracking cookies.

1. Who we are

The controller of your personal data is:

Majorum Network LLC
A Wyoming (United States) limited liability company, filing number 2026-001951938
Registered office: 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States (c/o Northwest Registered Agent Service Inc.)
Contact: via the contact form

Person in charge of data protection (El Salvador Personal Data Protection Law): Côme THIBAUT, via the contact form

2. What we collect and why

2.1 Visiting the site

When you load a page, our web server automatically records technical information in its logs: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the HTTP status code, the referring page and your browser's user-agent string.

  • Purpose: delivering the site, keeping it secure, detecting abuse and diagnosing errors.
  • Legal basis (GDPR): our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Retention: 52 days, then deleted, unless a specific log is needed to investigate a security incident.

An intrusion-prevention tool (fail2ban) reads these logs and records the IP addresses that send abusive requests (for example repeated failed connection attempts) in order to block them. It keeps these addresses only for as long as needed to protect the server.

We do not use these logs to profile visitors and we do not combine them with other data.

2.2 Contact form

The contact form asks for your name, email address and message (required) and, optionally, your phone number. It also includes two anti-spam checks: a hidden field that humans leave empty and a simple arithmetic question. These checks are not used to identify you.

  • Purpose: answering your enquiry and, where relevant, preparing a proposal or quote.
  • Legal basis (GDPR): steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and, for general enquiries, our legitimate interest in answering the people who write to us (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Where it goes: your message is sent by email to our mailbox, hosted by Infomaniak. It is not stored in a database or a file on the web server.
  • Retention: 3 years after our last exchange, unless the conversation leads to a contract (see 2.5).

Please do not include sensitive information (health, passwords, confidential client data) in the form. If your project involves confidential data, tell us and we will agree on a suitable channel.

2.3 Other messages and replies

If you contact us through any other channel, we process your contact details and the content of your message for the same purposes, on the same legal bases and for the same period as for the contact form.

2.4 WhatsApp and discovery calls

  • WhatsApp. The site offers a button that opens a WhatsApp conversation with us. Clicking it takes you to WhatsApp, operated by WhatsApp LLC / WhatsApp Ireland Ltd (Meta). Nothing is sent to WhatsApp until you click. WhatsApp then processes your data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. We see your phone number, profile name and the messages you send, and use them only to answer you, for the same retention period as in 2.2.
  • Free 20-minute discovery call. The call takes place on WhatsApp, at a time agreed in the conversation. We use no booking tool and no video-conferencing tool. We use the WhatsApp details above only to organise and hold the call (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Calls are not recorded or transcribed, and we keep no separate record of them.

2.5 Clients

If you become a client, we process the contact and billing details of you and your staff, project correspondence and invoicing and payment records, to perform our contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to meet our accounting and tax obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)). Contract data is kept for the duration of the relationship and then for 3 years; accounting and tax records are kept for 10 years. These records are managed with our own internal tools; payments themselves go through the bank or payment service used for the transaction.

The client area (/client) is not open yet. Before it opens, we will update this policy to describe the data and cookies it uses.

3. Cookies

We use only two cookies, both strictly necessary for the service you request. Neither is used for tracking or advertising, so we do not ask for consent.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you do, the site will still work, but it may not remember your language and you may need to refresh the contact page before sending a message.

4. Who receives your data

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data for advertising. Your data is only accessed by:

  • Majorum Network itself;
  • Infomaniak Network SA (Geneva, Switzerland), which hosts the website and our email, acting as our processor;
  • for clients only, the bank or payment service that processes a payment;
  • authorities, courts or professional advisers, where the law requires it or where needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

5. Where your data is processed

The website and its server logs are hosted in Switzerland, which the European Commission recognises as offering an adequate level of data protection.

Majorum Network is a United States company run from El Salvador, so your data is also accessed and processed from those countries, which are not covered by an EU adequacy decision. When you contact us, sending your message to us there is necessary to answer your request (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR). We apply the protections described in this policy wherever your data is processed.

6. Security

The site is served only over HTTPS with HSTS, uses a strict Content Security Policy that blocks third-party code, and loads no external resources. Access to messages and logs is limited to the people who need it to answer you or run the site. No system is perfectly secure, but we will notify you and the competent authorities of a data breach where the law requires it.

7. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to stop using it. Write to us through the contact form. We may ask you to prove your identity before acting on a request. We answer within one month (GDPR) or 20 business days (El Salvador), and never charge for a reasonable request.

If you are in the European Union, the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (in particular to processing based on our legitimate interest), and the right to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, for example the CNIL in France (www.cnil.fr).

If you are in El Salvador, you have the ARCO-POL rights under the Personal Data Protection Law (Legislative Decree No. 144 of 2024, as amended): access, rectification, cancellation, objection, portability, erasure ("right to be forgotten") and limitation of processing. You may also contact the State Cybersecurity Agency (Agencia de Ciberseguridad del Estado, ACE), which supervises that law.

If you are in the United States, we do not sell or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. If a state privacy law grants you rights, you can exercise them at the address above and we will not discriminate against you for doing so.

8. Automated decisions and children

We make no decisions about you based solely on automated processing, including profiling.

The site is aimed at businesses and is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, in particular when we add new features such as the client area. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change significantly affects how we use data you have already given us, we will tell you directly.

10. Contact

For any question about this policy or your data, use the contact form or write by post to Majorum Network LLC at the registered office address above.
